And Veeru is better

April 30, 2007
We skipped out entirely from TFF on Sunday because we couldn’t leave him alone. He went on a 30 hour fast and woke up in the middle of the night to get some kibble at last. He won’t eat from his plate and wanted to be hand-fed. He and Basanti were little kids again and went back to their box and slept at the foot of our bed. She was not a pest and somehow understood that he needed warmth and comfort.

He is about 60% better. Not his old self but sitting up and more alert. It is painful to see his this way. I want to go home and be with him but will have to get through the day.

This is them in peskier times climbing up our discarded box spring. Yes they’re up but how will they come down?

So glad to know he is feeling better! Have lived with pets for a long time and know how terrible it feels when they are ill. Hope he’s back to his naughty self in no time…

hi thanks. he is actually not doing that much better. he has developed an aversion to food and the only way he’ll eat is if i place him on my lap and feed him out of my hand. As cute as it is, I feel it’s a sure sign of something wrong. My vet appt is only on Friday and I guess I’m really stressed out …so I am ramblng. How are you?

Oh :(. Sometimes, they do get fussy though…at least dogs do. I hope he feels better soon. Stay strong. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I am doing well. Am probably going to some small, obscure town on the Bhutan border this month and insanely excited about it.
